Kingsley Nmaboshi Obi "KINSLEE" was Born in Lagos in 1988, hails from Ndokwa west, Delta State. He is the only son of the family of four[4]. He was raised in a suburb called Ajegunle in Lagos state. And like most ghetto kids he grew up in a community where opportunities were hard, but despite all the hardship, his parents ensured that he got an average education, and a good upbringing.
He attended Kinston Kiddies college presently Kinston Private school Ojo Road, lagos. He later attended Jubilee Model Grammar School, Coker-village, Lagos. While he was still in secondary school in 2002, he came together with some friends and they started a group called De'Angelz and in 2010 they won the MTN YELLOW BAUNTY AWARD. Later that same year the group broke up as they all went solo while some had to go back to school.
KINSLEE's love for music began as a member of the children's church choir. As his passion grew, so did his interest in music production and song writing. KINSLEE soon graduated from writing a few lines here and there to recording full-fledged tracks, experimenting with various forms of music - Gospel, Highlife, R&B and Afro-pop. His ability infuse various local languages with attractive melodies has carved him a niche sound that cannot be replicated.
Later in 2013 he moved on to a solo career, recording his 1st hit single "LUV ME", under a multi- management known as De'First Mallam Entertainment as the first Music artiste to be signed in.
Today, the single "LUV ME" is garnering rave reviews like wild fire. It's currently the Song of the Week on Rhythm 93.7 Benin City, and the Lagos stations are following suit.
Worked and done backup for some couple of artiste and producers like Alabai, Ruggedman, Solidstar, Sym19, Clay, Ruthless diva, Ojo, Kukbeat, J.sleek...... Just to mention but a few
